Hat's Off to White Hat Italian Yogurt

I'm not so fond of eating healthy. I know I should be watching what I eat from now on since age is catching up on me. But most often, eating healthy and not minding bland taste is just too hard to do.

Good thing some people have been trying to change how we should find healthy food as boring. More and more people are now conscious of what to put into their mouths. Wonderful and tasty alternatives have given old and boring healthy foods the chance to be better appreciated. Although these 'twists' come with 'pricey' price most of the time. But the common these delicious healthy options become, the affordable they soon will be (if they still aren't right now).

One healthy food I consider is yogurt. Yogurt is a custard- or pudding-like food made by the natural bacterial fermentation of milk. Yogurt is enjoyed with in different ways and popularly served mixed with fruits which I think is good to complement the somewhat-sour taste. This healthy food is also a great supplement for protein and calcium. And to those who can't tolerate milk products just like me, yogurt is the answer.

No, I have not been eating yogurt for years now. Actually, I have just discovered that I love yogurt. I might not look like someone who would appreciate such healthy food option but I dig it. It was my girlfriend who introduced me to loving yogurt just recently.

White Hat Italian Frozen Yogurt gave me an option to enjoy delicious and healthy yogurt at an affordable price. My first scoop of a White Hat yogurt was in Alabang Town Center. It was one unsuspecting ordinary night that turned into a memorable one when my girlfriend brought me to this kiosk in ATC. I was a bit skeptical at first. I've tasted yogurt before and I find it just plainly sour. But that first scoop of White Hat Yogurt changed how I use to think of yogurt.

  
I still am new in this 'living healthy, eat healthy' stuff. But White Hat is making it easier for me to consider eating healthy if it is as yummy.



   

Goodbye, Bob's Crab Shack...Hello, Juancho's !!!

It was one afternoon when my girlfriend and I craved for some yummy crabs. It was a unanimous decision to go to the place which introduced us to tasty crab selections--- Bob’s Crab Shack in BF Paranaque! Last time we visited the place was few months ago. So off we went to Bob’s famous crab shack.

We looked for that familiar signage which actually spells ‘delicious and tasty crabs’. We were already planning which dishes to order. And we could almost taste the food. But, to our surprise, 'the crab shack' was no longer there. Literally, my girlfriend almost cried after we found out, or should I say, after we didn’t find the good-old crab shack which was famous for their buttered alimango and tortang alimango.

Instead of the familiar name, there we saw a banner which showed an unfamiliar name. “Who the hell is Juancho?”, is what we first uttered upon seeing it. At one point we thought we got lost. But we were certain it's the right place. Even the establishments beside the what we used to know as Bob's Crab Shack were there. "Are my eyes be playing tricks on me again?", i thought.

Later we found out that the said establishment is now managed by someone else. Bob gave it up to some guy. You guessed it--- Juancho.

So, initially frustrated in not getting what we went there for, we considered other places to eat and vent our building frustration there. But, like it's a blessing, a familiar face from inside the restaurant called us and asked us to get inside and eat there. She was one of the waiters who used to work at Bob's. She convinced us to eat there after telling us that nothing really changed in the menu. Juancho decided to keep the same old but delectable dishes on the menu and will just add more exciting and must-try options.

And then our tummies were filled again.

Same food. Same taste. Same place. But this time with a little twist.

Should Have Bought That Organizer

I’m at it again. I just hate it when this happens. I plan to buy some things when I go to a mall but still I would end up empty handed. I have the dough to make purchases, alright, but I just can’t seem to decide whether to buy it or not. Just when I’ve decided on what to purchase, last minute call tells me not to. Reasons not to buy the items suddenly pop up from nowhere. Now they get me to question whether it’s a smart buy or just out of impulse. Do I really need this or just want to get myself one? But I’ve thought about it even before I lead myself into the mall. I’ve already reasoned with myself before storming my way through the stores.

I was supposed to buy an organizer for myself. I thought it’s a good way to start the New Year writing down your plans and schedules. Put into good use, it makes life easier to handle each day at a time. Every now and then I fall short in sorting out the things I need to get done. My priorities get messed up sometimes too.

One thing I’ve learned about life is that it will never wait on you. It continues to move on and run its uncharitable course. So you would never want to find yourself face down on the ground and whining how unfair it has been on you. You always knew that. Although sometimes it makes you think your lucky getting out of some mess.

Life may not have forever to wait for us but it sure will not deprive us of the time needed to make each of our lives worthwhile. It’s really up to us to grab the chance and get organized. Life passes faster than summer vacation, you know. The person next to you shouldn’t be the one calling the shots for you (at least not all the time).

When I’m on my sane mind, I believe decisions have to be made by me and no one else. I still have to remind myself of this every time though. But at least the effort is there. It’s my only chance to life.

One philosopher said, “Water shall never pass the same river twice.”

So I guess I really have to buy that organizer the next time, huh? Gees.

Fallen or Not

This is one of the things I learned from the sequel Fallen, which I watched last night. The idea really got me interested and so I watched it to its end. I only got the season one copy and am not sure if season two is already out. Well, I'm not really that eager to watch the second season since I believe I had my fill of it.

As implied in the movie, it was believed that after the Great Battle in heaven, when Lucifer and his army of angels got defeated by the Creator's Army of Angels, they were banned from paradise. Most of the banned angels left Lucifer and dwelled on earth with the humans. They were tagged as the Fallens. Then for some reason, a group of angels from heaven are sent to earth to hunt down these Fallens. But strangely enough, a prophecy has it that an offspring of a fallen and a human being will redeem the fallen and bring them back to paradise. This Redeemer will have the power to absolve every sin as long as it sees that soul, angel or not, worthy of redemption. money

I don't want to spoil the fun for those who haven't seen this movie yet so I'll just tell you what I picked up from it. The idea of an angel amongst us already got me glued to the movie. I wanted to know how they would portray angels in our world. I wanted to know how they would show who envies who. I have this idea that though we all wanted to be angels in some occasions, angels strangely would give up their "angelhood" to be like us.

I strongly believe angels are curious how we manage to still stand after every fall. How we pick up ourselves and move on. How, at one point, we love like there's no tomorrow and suddenly get hurt, cry and morn over our lost love, and then eventually love again. I believe they want to know how it is to do something you want badly and yet be given forgiveness if we screw up big time if we are sorry of it. Or simply on how we work hard for something we want in spite of the struggles.

Still I believe there are angels amongst usâ?¦no, let me rephrase it. I believe we are Nephilims.

E-Commerce for Entrepreneurs Series- Internet User's Guide to E-Commerce Policies

The first time I pictured myself blogging, earning wasn't really part of it. I used to see blogging as a way to share my thoughts to the world and what's the best way to do it but to post them on the internet.

It seemed to work since people I know, and even those I don't, get to read my blogs. I even received nice comments from some of these individuals. But it's a known fact that one can't really please everybody. So I know those unpleasant comment are just lurking somewhere. Well, I guess I'm ready for them. It's part of being unique.

But while I brace myself for unlikely comments, I plan to make the most out of blogging. I've already seen how this works when it comes to sharing my thoughts to others to hopefully make a difference. I believe it's about time to try to make some dough out of it.

So I'm now doing some research on how I can properly use the web to earn. I read blogs from those who have been into blogging for sometime now and somehow get some tips from the blogs. I also read some magazines and books on how to achieve the goal I set for myself. And I just read from Fitz Villafuerte about this helpful book which is expected to be out by February of next year.

The book is by Janette Toral. I learned that this is actually an updated edition which include new and more comprehensive information. This new edition of E-Commerce For Entrepreneurs and the first volume of the series is entitled Internet Userâ??s Guide to E-Commerce Policies.

I definitely love to talk. People I know couldn't agree more on this. My friends would ask if there's something wrong when they don't hear me talk just for a second...well, it's an exaggeration but your know what I mean. I love to share stories. I tell them jokes(even those that aren't really solicited and funny). And most of the time, sing lyrics that I make up and make sounds...some people find them funny. I talk, talk, and talk...most of the time...But what they don't know is, somewhere in me finds dancing trees to the tune of the winds relaxing. Watching the dogs chase each other like kids playing is pure joy. I also look at clouds as they form different shapes and really be amazed. And weird but true, I feel at peace observing vehicles pass along the busy streets; jeepneys picking up passengers just anywhere and motorists pissed by them. The watching-the-vehicles thing I learned from my dad, i guess. He makes it a habit to go out and watch these vehicles zoom their ways through the busy streets back in our place. I never thought I would find such simple pleasure in something I never quiet understood...or tried not to.

As I examine these so called activities where I'm not doing anything, I realize that these are rare times where no words are necessary to achieve such simple bliss. no jokes to crack, no stories to tell, and i don't have to come up with new sounds to imitate.These maybe weird examples but the same is true with others when it comes to finding ourselves at peace. Sadly, we sometimes forget to spend some time to indulge ourselves with these joys. We are so busy doing a lot of things yet each day ends with us feeling so stressed and burned out. Doing nothing and just be an observer really has it's own benefit.

Probably spending some time on your own doing nothing would rejuvenate you. you might get the necessary energy to spark you up. Sitting by the shore, a walk in the park, attending to your orchids and pets, and perhaps even just taking your time sitting on that throne of yours inside your comfort room. Just find time to get out of your daily routine doing things that keep you worried.

I'm not promoting laziness here. Just a time off from those routines that eats up your life. It sometimes helps to do nothing and breathe so we can get ourselves ready to face what lies ahead. Or just to feel relieved, i guess.
